Attended the #HolyEucharist in our parish church this afternoon. Today’s Gospel is one of my favorites, the #WalktoEmmaus. The priest gave a thought-provoking question to us, “What has been the impact of our participation in the Eucharist?” May the Eucharist bring us to see and experience the risen #Christ, He who has overcome sin and death for us. This was how the two disciples experienced Christ in Emmaus, whenthey recognized him “in the breaking of the bread” #GodisLove #EasterOctave #CatholicChurch #CatholicFaith #Resurrection #100HAPPYDAYS #Day61
#smile #reminiscence #remindsmeofyou #keso #100HAPPYDAYS #Day60

Now watching #HapagngPagasa on ABSCBN Channel 2. It is interesting to know how the kids in Joey Velasco’s painting are doing now. Not all are good stories, though.
HOPE will remain, because God walks with us in the midst of suffering, even in the midst of doubt and faithlessness… May we become channels of God’s hope to our poor brothers and sisters. #EasterSunday #ChecheLazaroPresents #Hope #100HAPPYDAYS #Day58 #HopeinGod
Today is the #GreatFlashbakFriday, remembering that day on Calvary when Jesus showed the immeasurable love of God for all humankind with his total self-giving on the Cross. Thank you Lord for loving me this much, for making all things new for us…
"A bowl full of vinegar stood there; so they put a sponge full of the vinegar on hyssop and held it to his mouth. When Jesus had received the vinegar he said, “It is finished”; and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." (JOHN 19:28-30)
The “IT” that was finished was the Passover that Jesus had begun—but interrupted—in the Upper Room! And its completion was marked by the sign of Jesus’ drinking the sour wine, the fourth cup! Or to be more precise, what was finished was Jesus’ fulfillment of the Passover of the Old Covenant, through his transformation of it into the New Covenant Passover. Ironically, the hour of his crucifixion and death constituted no defeat; it was rather “the day and the hour” of Jesus’ entrance into the glory of his kingdom, when he’d drink of the vine anew,4 just as he had said. But it isn’t his will to drink alone; for Jesus calls us, as his disciples, to partake not only of the “third cup,” that is, the “cup of blessing” which we share in the Eucharist (see 1 Cor 10:16), but also of the “fourth cup” by dying for him (Mk 10:38-39).5 Only then is the paschal mystery truly fulfilled in us.

After participating in today’s Liturgy, the thought came to me that this celebration is a #HolyThrowback to the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ who gave His life for us to #passover from death to new life in Him. The #WashingoftheFeet served to invite us time and again to imitate Jesus’ example of humility and total self-giving, which we witness everytime we take part in the #HolyEucharist. Jesus also invites us to take time to spend an hour with him in #adoration, that our hearts may always be one with him.
Spending an hour with him in the #BlessedSacrament, I came to realize that life will always give me a reason to be happy everyday, not just for 100 days, because Jesus is with me. He will never leave me no matter what happens. All he desires is to give me his love - his love that will heal me and make me whole. #PaschalMystery #EasterTriduum #100HAPPYDAYS #Day55
