STILL ON APRIL 2011: After the SYD 2011 comes the Holy Week. Deciding to observe this most sacred week in the journey of our Church, I joined the Easter Triduum retreat/life direction encounter with other young ladies in Canlubang, Laguna, in the Aspirantate of the FMA Sisters. A number of those who saw me spending the Holy Week with the Sisters and LDErs were quite surprised, and so was I, actually. The main intention of mine was only to have a more quiet time with the Lord during the Holy Week; but it ended that He gave me a lot of realizations and rediscoveries about myself and relationship with Him, which brought to another significant turning point in my life… and from that meaningful and truly resurrecting Holy Week experience in the Aspirantate, comes the invitation for me to follow where God is taking me by His hand.
Part also of this turning point is leaving the SYM National Office, after serving it for the past 8 years… Before I finally left to join another office, the young people of Don Bosco School Manila gave me a simple thank you presentation during their evaluation meeting of the SYD 2011. It was another touching moment for me. Although, I know that I won’t really be that far from them, because I’m still in the youth ministry. But this time, taking the call of ministry to the next level… ^_^
